The 82-acre complex is home to the Tampa Bay Rays during Spring Training and the Charlotte Stone Crabs, the Rays’ High-A affiliate. The facility also features a pedestrian concourse, child’s play area, practice fields, batting cages and can seat 7,500.

Fort Myers Beach Shrimp Festival

Gasparilla Island State Park
Located in Boca Grande, which is on a chain of Gulf Coast barrier islands, the park’s centerpiece is a restored lighthouse originally built in 1890. The area’s untouched beaches are popular spots for swimming, snorkeling, fishing and nature study. Shelling is known to be good in the winter months.
